Emily Rowe Music about background.jpg

Classical pianist, contemporary composer

Emily Rowe’s debut release Daydream features ten original songs by the new age recording artist. Influenced by classical music, Windham Hill albums, and mid-19th century British literature, Rowe creates a tapestry of beauty and romance by interweaving cello and violin throughout the album. Opening tracks Forever and Midnight share dramatic, sweeping orchestrated melodies while title track Daydream maintains a lighter simplicity as a solo piano piece.

Emily claims many influences including:

Music by Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Schubert

Windham Hill albums

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, both inspiring the title for Past the Thorns.

Sheet music files are available for purchase and download. Each song is beautifully formatted and easy to read, and will appeal to pianists of all levels.
